Buy a rose on 65 roses day
The national day of awareness for Cystic Fibrosis, 65 Roses Day, is coming up. Get involved in this worthy cause and help to raise much needed funds for Cystic Fibrosis. This year the annual fundraising day will be held on Friday 30th May, 2014.

There are many ways to participate in 65 Roses Day, and help to raise much needed funds for Cystic Fibrosis. You can organise a fun fundraising event, such as a morning tea, a dinner party or a BBQ. Get your family and friends involved to help you to raise money.

Join in and help to put an end to this life threatening condition by buying a rose from volunteers in and around Perth. Roses will be for sale at various locations and shopping centres. If you are in the city, visit the 65 Roses marquee in the Murray Street Mall between 7am and 6pm. Roses will cost $5.00 each.

This year, Cystic Fibrosis Australia also has 65 Roses merchandise available for sale to raise money and awareness of Cystic Fibrosis.

If you don't want to organise your own event you can volunteer to collect donations or sell roses on 65 Roses Day. Volunteers are always needed and very welcome to help out.

The rose is the symbol of cystic fibrosis and has been associated with the foundation since the 1960's. The rose was chosen after a little boy with Cystic Fibrosis misheard his mother and thought that she said "65 Roses" instead of "cystic fibrosis".
