65, is an exhibition by Monika Domaschenz which will take place at Nishi Gallery from 1 to 6 May.

Domaschenz is a Canberra born and trained, Sydney based graphic designer who works with a number of leading design studios and global advertising agencies such as M&C Saatchi, Frost, Moon Design, Clemenger BBDO & Imagination.

Each drawing is simply a unit of reflection one moment in a journey with no final destination the act of making being equally, if not more important to her, than the final work.

Monika produced one drawing each week over 65 weeks. 65, an exhibition are small acts of remembrance. She sought to reflect on and celebrate her mother's life of 65 years.

This exhibition was created in memory of Monika's mother Wanda who passed away at the age of 65 after suffering her second stroke in 2011.

100% of the proceeds from the sale of the artworks will be donated to support NeuRA's stroke rehabilitation research.

The opening of the 65 exhibition, will take place on 1 May from 6.00pm to 8.00pm at Nishi Gallery.
