Kristian Fletcher's celebrated dance parties are back at New Farm Bowls Club for 2018. He's kicking off this February with a 60s vs 70s Dance Party that'll redefine 'groovy'. You're invited to embrace your inner dancing queen (even if you're not young, sweet or 17) and boogie the night away on Saturday 24 February from 6pm. DJ Kristian Fletcher will start the festivities with the best rock 'n' pop music of the 1960s plus disco, glam and funk from the 1970s.
Hours of 60s and 70s classics Bistro and licensed bar Go-go dancers
Kristian Fletcher has been presenting retro and cult music and movie nights in Brisbane for over sixteen years. He first launched this series of retro dance parties at the bowls club in 2017 and is excited to be back for regular one-off events.
"Trip the light fantastic with twenty years of classic songs," Fletcher said.
New Farm Bowls Club has a reputation for offering the friendliest service and some of the cheapest beers in town. When they're not hosting Kristian's dance parties, they have barefoot bowls, functions, parties, corporate gatherings and team building events. Why not turn up a little early, have a bowl, enjoy a meal at the bistro and a bevvy from the bar before you enjoy the retro music and entertainment?
60s vs 70s Dance Party is an all-ages event. Tickets are ten dollars per person plus booking fee and pre-booked groups of four receive a special discount, so grab your three retro besties and book now (I'm looking at you ABBA)! Bookings can be made online at www.kristianfletcher.com.
