A hilarious comedy must see at Fringe World 2018
Back at Fringeworld again this year and as funny as ever is our own local boy from the backstreets of Midland, Cameron McLaren.

A winner of 'Best Comedy WA Fringe World 2017', Cameron returns with his hilarious routine named "6056", and anyone from Perth knows he is talking Midland.

The Australian Times said - "This rising local comedian's laid-back nature almost makes it feel like he is just performing to a bunch of mates" while The West Australian describes him in his performance as "There is a genuine sense of fun in his delivery… this proves infectious. 3 Stars", while AU Review's comment was "He's just really funny."

He is extremely funny and having seen his performance last year, I jumped at the chance to go see him again this year and he didn't disappoint. Although the show is named "6056", (postcode of Midland for those not from here), I felt that the underline of the show was starting to be more about Cameron himself and as he said in his performance "It's his name on the poster so he can do and say whatever the f@#% he likes".

Last night's premiere show was a sell out show and the audience were great! Cameron is that guy we all knew at school, with his casual "don't give a crap to much" personality. He really projects that in his show as he talks candidly about growing up in Midland, road-rage, bullying, drugs and bananas. Yes, bananas!

Since bursting on the comedy scene a few years back, Cameron is really making a name and promising career for himself. He has his own show on West TV, is Channel 9's go-to audience warm up act as well as hosting the movie review podcast 'Movies Are Dumb'. Thousands were entertained at the Channel 7's Telethon and RAC Christmas Pageant. as well. Cameron's success has also continued at the Midland, Busselton and Darwin Fringe Festivals.

If you want to catch his hilarious style in his show "6056", then get your tickets quick as he does have sell out performances and it is a full hour of laughs.
