2. Donnelly's Fresh Fruit and Veg
Located at Wyalla Plaza, Newtown, Donnelly's has a solid 4.5-star rating on Google. Known for offering the absolute best value in town, Donnelly’s is popular for its always-fresh quality and seasonal "bucket buys," which provide even better deals (how about $1.49 per kg for tomatoes and $1.99 for a whole cauliflower??)
In addition to fruit and vegetables, they stock eggs, bread, and milk.
They typically offer same-day delivery if you order before 11am, though their online store was temporarily closed for maintenance at the time of writing.

This popular, higher-end market runs every Saturday from 7am to 12pm across the road from Queens Park on the site of the Cobb and Co Museum. It features a few fresh produce stalls and a gourmet mushroom stall. A tip for shoppers: the longest queues often point to the best vendors.
The market also runs additional dates during the Carnival of Flowers and in the lead-up to Christmas.
Other stalls include seedlings, mead, leather goods, dog treats, handmade gifts, gin, and food and coffee vendors.
Stroll across the road afterwards to visit Queens Park's botanic gardens or playgrounds.
