It is being billed not 'as a hardcore run but as a fun core run' and it is all good clean fun. The 5K Foam Fest is an obstacle course fun run held at St Anne's Vineyards on Saturday 1 December 2018.
Participants will be put through their paces with 22 obstacles including the world's largest inflatable waterslide, mud pits and ending with 2.5 million cubic feet of foam.
With a variety of obstacles and so much foam, the run is an exciting challenge for both experienced and beginner runners.
There will be a DJ and 12,000 watts of great music. Kids can participate but must be over 7.
Those under 7 get to enjoy a free kids zone where they can try out a mini Inflatable obstacle course and Bounce House (adult supervision required). This is very much a family event and it supports the charity Make a Wish.
Expect all sorts of food choices and a beer garden.
What is included?
Every participant receives a runner's bib, tattoo, finishers medal, beach towel, free professional photos for download and lots of laughs all while supporting a great cause.
Why book early?
Ticket prices jump so the earlier you register the more you save. There are family pass ticket options and discounted rates available for corporate groups, military and all first responders.
Kids aged 8 to 12 years must run with a registered adult. Parents should help their youngsters decide on what obstacles to do or not do based on their ability, size and confidence level.
Remember that all obstacles are optional.
You must feel that your children are physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of completing the course with proper course etiquette.
Kids 13-17 years do not require an adult chaperone but must adhere to all course rules and regulations.
Types of passes
There are family pass ticket option available for up to 5 immediate family members
It is also possible to run as a team. Military and first responders get discounted tickets but must show proof of membership.
