Go the Extra Mile are holding the inaugural endurance walk for charity in the Dandenong Ranges on Sunday 23 November 2013.

[ADVERT]Not for the faint hearted, sees walkers (in teams of at least two for safety) start at 7am at the Skyhigh Restaurant at the top of Mount Dandenong and run, walk (or crawl!) 50 kilometres, finishing up at Kalorama Memorial Park any time before midnight.

Make sure you get your team of friends and family to support you by dropping you at the starting line and dropping care packages for you at the Pit Stops set up along the way.

Walkers must raise a minimum of $200 each, 100% of which is tax deductible and goes directly to Go the Extra Mile. Registration is $55 per walker, which covers insurances, first aid, venues, food, printing and permits.

What's in it for you? A chance to brag to your friends and family of your amazing endurance achievement while enjoying "breathtaking vistas overlooking the cityscape of Melbourne and the beautiful Warburton ranges, while taking in the surrounds of the lush Olinda forest."

You'll also be helping to raise funds for Go the Extra Mile, a Christian charity aiming to relieve the broken, poor and destitute throughout the world.

For maps, to register, and for further information go to the event website .
