Mr Grey will see you now.

'50 Shade of Grey' is a 2015 drama/romance staring Dakota Johnson, Jamie Dornan and Jennifer Ehle. The highly anticipated movie is based on the very popular 2011 novel by E.L. James.

'50 Shades of Grey' is the first instalment in the Fifty Shades trilogy. It looks at the growing relationship between innocent college graduate Anastasia (Ana) Steel (Dakota Johnson) and a wealthy entrepreneur named Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan). The film starts with Ana interviewing Mr Grey for her University's newspaper - from there the relationship begins.

Everything is not as it seems, although Christian makes Ana happy, he has a dark side that nobody else sees. His family and friends don't know the real Christian and Ana is unsure whether she wants too. Having been a virgin when they meet, Ana is very innocent when it comes to matters of the heart. Christian doesn't want an everyday relationship having been tormented as a young boy, rather he enjoys something a little different.

Directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson and written by Kelly Marcel it's an elegant love story with a passion for erotica that women will love. If you found the that the novel tickled your fancy, then the film will be right up your alley. It takes crucial scenes from the book and makes them into a tasteful yet enjoyable film.

Although the film received mixed reviews from critics, it was an immediate box office success having already earned more than $409 million. The sequel 'Fifty Shades Darker' is planned for a 2016 release.
