All jokes aside though, there is only one more week of Christmas shopping and by now most of us have run out of energy, enthusiasm, and ideas. Unfortunately what we haven't run out of is people to buy things for.

So here I am, coming to the rescue. I have five absolutely fantastic Christmas gift ideas which you can organise from the comfort of your laptop and - even better - there is no wrapping required.

Give the gift of theatre. It is the type of gift which never stops giving. There is the anticipation leading up to the performance, the joy on the night, and then the fond memories which can linger a lifetime.
