Get out and try something new this week
If your week is feeling a bit ordinary with lunch at your desk or in the office kitchen and you're keen to break your lunchbreak monotony, step outside and actually enjoy your hour off by doing something pretty awesome, all in under an hour.
1. Challenge a lunch date to table tennis
Pep up your afternoon with some friendly competition. Take advantage of the free table tennis tables at St Collins Lane (at 260 Collins St) and enjoy a bit of friendly competition. Losing player shouts takeaway lunch at the food court!

2. Train your brain with escapism Boost your brainpower and take some colleagues to an escape room at Strike QV. In just 50 minutes you can put yourself to the test with some serious riddle solving skills. Take a group of 6 for stronger brain power and enjoy a bit of team building as well.
3. Boost your endorphins with a belly laugh Working on a weekend can really stink but nothing perks up your mood better than a good ol'hardy-har-har. Laughter Clubs Victoria meet up at Federation Square every first and third Sunday for just 30 mins from 11-11:30 where they host free laughter sessions. Sure it might feel weird at first, but you'll be surprised how good you feel after (with an extra 30 mins to spare for a bite!)
4. Nerd out with science
Where science nerd meets goth, the Wunderkammer Museum and Store on 439 Lonsdale St is packed with oddities. The German word for 'Cabinet of Curiosities is bang on because here you'll find everything from antique medical tools to maps, fossils and even taxidermy, you'll marvel the oddly impressive collection of items you've likely walked by every day unnoticed.

5. Become a master mixologist Friday drinks just got better when you book yourself into a margarita making class at the CBD's new Mexican eatery, Los Vida. Located in The Aviary on Level 2 at St Collins, Los Vida will show you how to mix and shake up the perfect margarita to pair with some of Melbourne's spiciest tacos.
