Be ahead of the crowd and visit these before they are cool
If you are tired of your usual breakfast haunts or want to venture out into the big wide unknown in the hopes of finding a hot new coffee joint, this is a great list to start you off with some of Brisbane's newest and brightest stars.
Opening just before Christmas in 2014, this little gem is unique in it's love of coffee but complete encouragement for you to bring your own alcohol and food. It's also a functions venue which you can hire for an hourly rate in the evenings for your next big party or event.
Home of best milkshake on the Northside, this quaint and busy little cafe is on everyone's must-do list for breakfast, brunch or a lazy lunch. They also host around four dinner nights a month which showcase new foods and you can bring your own beers to enjoy with it.
An Argentinian BBQ joint which transports to the motherland through melting meats, excellent breads and quesedilla's and traditional wines and beers. This is now one of my favourite new places to grab dinner with mates or for a casual meal with my husband.
Set in a lofty warehouse on Montague Road, Plenty is the kind of cafe you wish was just down the road from your house so you could grab fresh and healthy meals any time of the day. The also offer a deli filled with organic and free range products for you to go home and cook up your own creations. I highly recommend this place if you have any food allergies as they cater for all.
The best American sandwich I've found in Brisbane is at Bread & Meat Co in the Valley. This little hole in the wall offers just three options and I highly recommend ordering the sampler on your first time around. The sweet potato fries are also pretty special so make sure you get a round.
