As the flowers spring, so do the new places to eat
Canberra food scene continues to grow, with over 300 restaurants and cafes opening over the last eight years! And the trend doesn't seem to be slowing anytime soon, as it feels that new places are popping up each week. So here are 5 new kids on the block to try out this spring.

From the creative forces behind Barrio Collective, Taco Taco will mix authentic Mexican street food (Breaky fried rice, lamb tacos and broth bowls) with a dash of local favourites (Capital Brew).

No Name Lane, 40 Marcus Clarke St, Canberra City | Open Monday Thursday 7.30am 3pm, Friday 7.30am 11pm | tacotacocbr.com

Gami

On October 15th, my favourite Korean fried chicken shop in Melbourne will be opening in the Canberra Centre! This amazing chain provides deliciously juicy yet not overly oily chicken with a light and crispy batter. Accompanying the chicken is a great list of bottled and tap beer!

Baby Su

Cheese Bao-ger

From the owners of Lazy Su, comes their new venture - Baby Su. This restaurant is the more fast-paced one of the two and caters to customers' desires for fast and casual food. They also offer a takeaway option as well as delicious grab and go lunch packs. Although there are also favourites from Lazy Su, such as the delicious cheesy wagyu spring rolls!

54 Alinga Street, City West | Open 1210 pm, seven days a week | baby-su.com.au

Terra

Best infused chai by far!

Another new addition to the city's west is Terra, a stylish and inviting cafe offering everything from amazing chai to grab and go food to full meal. Their menu is ever changing, to showcase the local produce but one thing is certain, the char-grilled meats cooked every day makes this place smell amazing!

No Name Lane, 40 Marcus Clark Street| Open Monday-Friday, 7.30am-4pm, Saturday, 8am-4pm |terracanberra.com.au
