42 BELOW's Waste-Free Weekender is going to be massive over two days from 12 to 14 September at This Must Be The Place, 239 Oxford St, Darlinghurst. This is a party for the planet for FREE, complete with entertainment and waste-free-throw-downs. Check out the event pages for individual details and information.
Also on Thu 12 and Fri 13 Sep from 4.30pm to 5.30pm each evening you have Paint & Piss (Take) with Struthless. Both events are FREE, however for these 2 dates you need to REGISTER for your chance to WIN a ticket to this event. Illustrator, videographer and satirist Struthless will be tackling sustainability one drawing at a time in a live class, guiding you step by step to produce your very own piss-take masterpiece. Creativity takes courage or a cocktail and that'll be on offer by one of the country's most sustainable bars, Adelaide's Maybe Mae.
Sustainability has always been a focal point of everything they do and being involved with others who share their vision is their game. They'll be showcasing some of their new drinks from their soon to be released new menu. Do note you'll be informed if you win a ticket which are strictly limited, and registering does not guarantee you one.
Saturday 14 Sep from 10am to 1pm you have the Wasteless Brunch with Acre Eatery. Like the events above with Struthless, you need to REGISTER to WIN tickets to this event which is again strictly limited and registering not guaranteeing you a place. You'll be informed when the winners are drawn.
Acre Eatery is a sustainable farm-to-table restaurant walking the walk with their seasonal menus and commitment to local fresh produce. Wasteless Brunch means there's no produce left behind. Dishes on the menu will be created from ingredients leftover from Acre's Camperdown kitchen and will be paired with Bloody Mary's & 42 BELOW cocktails from Maybe Mae. These are the golden Wonka tickets everyone is going to want to win.
