In need of music? Here’s 40 hours worth
Shelton Gregory, fondly also known as Shenzo Gregorio, graduated from The Queensland Conservatorium with a classical violin degree in 1997. He has since forged a diverse and varied musical career, adding viola, guitar mandolin, Ike bass, keys and percussion to his repertoire. He has played in front of international concert halls and supported numerous celebrity superstars along the way.

Drawing upon his artistic flair and event management skills, Shenzo has put together a function for music lovers in the south-east corner of Queensland that will both satisfy the senses as well as raising funds and awareness for a good cause.

And the good cause, you may ask?

Raising funds for research into Motor Neurone Disease. MND is the name given to a group of diseases in which the nerve cells - neurones - controlling the muscles that enable us to move, speak, breathe and swallow, undergo degeneration and die. Nothing fun about that one, hey .....

The 40 Hour Jammin' will see Shenzo performing for 40 hours straight (with five minutes break each hour as per Guinness Book of Records guidelines), alongside invited guests. And may I add that the guest list is extensive! Please refer here.

This musical extravaganza commences on Friday, the 17th of November at 8:00 pm and finishes at 12 noon on Sunday, 19th November.

Being held at the Motor Neurone Disease Centre, the corner of Stanley Street East and Birubi Street, Coorparoo, the entry fee is by gold coin donation.

There is plenty of free parking along Birubi Street, at Griffin Park, and at the AFL Clubhouse at the end of Birubi Street. The venue is only a five-minute walk from the Coorparoo Railway Station.
