4 Paws and Claws, after having to shift areas in the Market, is now a fairly small shop which caters to animals, as well as selling the cutest puppies. As the saying goes, "good things come in small packages".



I would not have written this if I had not investigated and found out that they definitely do not use puppy farms. The puppies all look so active and healthy and are cute as a button - HARD TO RESIST!

Their environment is kept very clean, albeit messy with their toys, with no smells often associated with places that sell puppies. The puppies have plenty of room to run around, play and sleep, and the owner is constantly talking to the puppies.



Although their prices seem high, they are vet checked and hand picked by the owner mostly from locals who contact the shop, by word of mouth, or with surprise pregnancies. There are a few planned ones that they buy, and all their dogs are raised in homes with loving families, which usually make them extremely good pets, particularly if you have children.



They also have a special offer: after purchasing an animal, within 48 hours you may have a free vet check from a local vet clinic, and a 30 day free pet insurance.

They sell dog and cat beds, leads, and quite a lot is packed into the small space making it an interesting shop to browse in.



The shop is at Coventry Village in Morley and they also do grooming on weekends. This service offers dog grooming/washing at the shop or via their mobile unit.

If you are looking for a puppy, you can watch these cute ones from outside the shop and pick one you like the look of - prices are all displayed in the window. Many of the pups were already sold when I was there, and waiting for pick up on the weekend.

A shop well worth a visit!
