Event:
MKR judge to cook Sunday lunch at Albany's Garrison
While affable Irish chef Colin Fassnidge has been judging others' dishes as part of Channel 7's My Kitchen Rules, on Sunday, April 9, he'll be back on the tools.

Colin will be joining the team at Albany's beautiful Garrison restaurant to cook a long lunch.

The long lunch is part of Taste Great Southern, Australia's biggest food festival that features more than 40 events running across the region from March 23 to April 9.

Garrison restaurant, with its commanding views over King George Sound and the Princess Royal passage, will provide an ideal venue for guests to sit back and enjoy a leisurely Sunday lunch.

A highly respected chef, Colin completed his apprenticeship with Raymond Blanc in 1994 and has owned and operated his own restaurants in Australia since 2005.

He plans to take guests on a journey at Garrison through recipes inspired by his cookbook Four Kitchens, and showcasing wonderful Great Southern produce.

Dishes will be matched with beautiful 3drops wines.

3drops began as a family farm and a vision to produce premium wines and extra virgin olive oil whilst maintaining the integrity of the land for generations to come.

Southwest of Mount Barker in the heart of the Great Southern wine region the vineyard comprises 15 hectares of varieties of Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Shiraz.

Italian, Greek and Spanish varieties of olive trees thrive alongside the vines.

The name 3drops was chosen to reflect the attributes of three precious liquids wine, olive oil and water, with both the vineyard and olive grove carefully irrigated from a large wetland on the property.

The melding of time honoured tradition, passion and sensibility with contemporary techniques and the latest technology, enables 3drops to produce wines with distinctive varietal and regional characters
