3D Lion King Charity Screening

Home > Adelaide > Cinema | Charity | Family | Fun for Children
Event:

Everyone remembers the beloved classic Disney movie, The Lion King. Watched by pretty much every child at least once, this movie has been a part of children's lives for generations. That being said, it is the perfect choice by Event Cinemas, Greater Union and Birch Carrol & Coyle, for the special charity event for the Childrens Hospital Foundations Australia.

On September 18th at 2pm, Australia wide, for the first time ever The Lion King will be shown in 3D. Children and adults alike will find the idea of seeing The Lion King on the big screen an exciting enough prospect, but seeing the film in 3D is definitely going to up the excitement, especially for the younger members of the audience.

The best thing about seeing The Lion King on September 18th is the fact that all proceeds will be going to the Childrens Hospital Foundations Australia (CHFA). At just $11 for a ticket, people will hopefully flock to see this once in a lifetime event and CHFA will get a wonderful donation.

Definitely sounds like a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Watch a classic movie from childhood on the big screen and in 3D, while giving to charity.

The Lion King, a movie that has brought joy and happiness to children everywhere will be bringing a different kind of happiness to kids that need it most.

Being the Disney lover that I am, the moment I had The Lion King was coming out of the vault again I was very excited. Even more so when they announced a cinema release. That being said, I wasn't too keen on seeing it in 3D.

I was really impressed though. It was brilliant in 3D and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to relieve their childhood for an hour and a half.
