3D Art Langkawi is the largest interactive 3D art museum in Malaysia. It features over one hundred exhibits painted by numerous international artists. All the paintings are interactive, allowing you to either interact with, step inside or crawl into them. There are nine different zones to explore, including the aquarium, safari, fantasy and optic illusion zones.
We had lots of fun while we were there. Being early was the key to avoid the crowds. And, of course, going there during the off-peak season. We almost had the whole place to ourselves, sharing it with only a few other people. It was fantastic. We took our time with each of the exhibits and tried various stunts without feeling the pressure to move on quickly.
The art museum is located within the Oriental Village at the foothills of Mount Machincang. Entry fee is RM38 per adult and RM28 per child. Discounts are available for Malaysian citizens. If you are planning to go up the cable car, then your cable car ticket would include entry into the art museum as well. There is no need to purchase a separate ticket in that case. Do note though that you will be required to remove your shoes before entering.
