Located opposite Burger Foundry , 360 Gradi Café specialises in serving authentic Italian pizzas. The name of the café is inspired by the temperature of the oven used to cook the pizzas. Most of the ingredients used in the pizzas are imported from Italy, giving them a distinct flavour compared to pizzas we have eaten at other restaurants. The popularity of their food is evident as it was fully booked for the evening except for two tables. We were able to secure a table because we were there around 5pm. They were also extremely busy coping with the many takeaway orders.

Capricciosa is one of the various pizzas available, featuring a topping of mozzarella, ham, salami, artichokes and mushrooms. The base was crisp and much thinner than pizzas that we have tried so far thus making the toppings the star of the dish. The toppings had a distinct flavour, particularly from the fresh taste of the ham. We were informed that their pizzas are normally served uncut; I'm not sure how other diners cope with that as the pizza is pretty large. We requested that ours be cut.

360 Gradi also serves a decent range of pasta. Our choice on that day was their 'Gnocchi Al Ragu' (Potato Gnocchi in Veal Ragout). The gnocchi was cooked al dente with the veal ragout enhancing its flavour without overwhelming it. If you prefer, the gnocchi can be served in a tomato sauce instead.

To complete our meal, we decided to try their strawberry cheesecake which was one of their daily specials. My mother expected the cheesecake to be topped with fresh strawberries but the dish came with a strawberry coulis topping the cheesecake. The crisp, buttery base contrasted wonderfully with the filling which did not taste too cheesy (even my father, who does not like cheese, loved it) with the fresh strawberry coulis topping completing the dish without being too sweet.

In addition to the dishes on their menu, 360 Gardi also has a range of Italian soft drinks to help complete the Italian experience. One of the drinks we ordered was known as the 'Italian Coke'. It was indeed an experience - what strikes us most was the freshness of the ingredients. The ambience of the café is quite casual with the tables spaced a good distance apart from each other.
