If you love movies, and discussions about movies, here are 3 great shows you can listen to for free.


1. Werewolf Ambulance



If you're a fan of horror movies, then Werewolf Ambulance is for you. The hosts, two friends named Allen and Katie, recap and discuss a different horror movie each week, with many laughs along the way. They've been at this since 2014, and have covered older movies like Warlock (1989), as well as more recent films, including Talk To Me , Fall , and MaXXXine.

I really enjoy their light-hearted approach to movies. Be warned, however, that this show does contain spoilers, as well as some explicit language. You can find it on Stitcher.


2. Too Scary, Didn't Watch



If, on the other hand, you don't enjoy watching horror movies but don't want to be left out of the conversation when your friends talk about the latest zombie flick, you might enjoy Too Scary, Didn't Watch . This weekly comedy podcast is hosted by Emily Gonzalez, Henley Cox and Sammy Smart. One of the hosts watches a scary movie, then recaps what happened in an irreverent, chatty way for those who haven't seen it. Past episodes have included Inside, Single White Female and Night Swim . You can find it on Stitcher or Apple Podcasts.


12 Days Pod



12 Days Pod is a podcast devoted to Christmas movies. It's hosted by a couple named Cara and Dan, who often disagree about what exactly constitutes a "typical holiday experience". Movies are rated out of 12, for the 12 days of Christmas. Past episodes have included discussions of Hot Frosty , Violent Night , and The Christmas Chronicles. If you love Christmas movies but don't know anyone who likes them as much as you do to discuss them with, then you will love this podcast.

Of all the podcasts I have mentioned, this one is the most family friendly, but even it has the odd bit of adult humour. You can find it on Spotify, Stitcher or Apple Podcasts.
