3-Ingredient Air Fryer Scones Recipe

Do you have a well-loved recipe for scones that you use every time? I must say that I haven't made many scones in my life, so I haven't had a favourite, but when my Mum told me about the "lemonade scones recipe", she was shocked that I hadn't tried it! I imagine other people have tried this recipe as it is so easy - it just uses self-raising flour, lemonade and cream. As it was a hot day when we made them, we decided to bake them in the air fryer and see how they turned out - they were a success!

This recipe is now on my list of family favourites which includes all the other recipes that mum has given me over time (such as Grandma's Shepherd's Pie and Boiled Fruit Cake ). It is an easy recipe which I can make before friends come over for morning tea or as a school holiday activity with the kids. Why don't you try it for yourself this weekend?



Ingredients:

**1.5 cups self-raising flour
1/2 cup cream
1/2 cup lemonade**

What To Do

Step 1: Combine the 3 ingredients in a large bowl, until it forms a dough.

Step 2: Scatter some of the flour onto the kitchen benchtop and roll the dough in the flour to make it easier to handle. Form a mound and then divide the dough evenly into 4 balls. Brush the tops with milk (optional).

Step 3: Place baking paper in the bottom of the air fryer and place the 4 dough mounds on top. Turn the air fryer on to 180 degrees for 12 minutes.

Step 4: Lavish with jam and cream and enjoy!
