Have you noticed that as a result of the past two years of Covid restrictions many small business operators are enticing customers to return by promoting new initiatives? It's the silver lining of the Pandemic really: implementing changes to encourage a return to custom.
Case in point, The Alexandra Hills Hotel has recently instigated
$20 Parmy Thursday where patrons can enjoy any type of Parmy on the menu for just $20.
This initiative is a positive for a few reasons :
1. Who doesn't need a break from mid-week meal prep?
2. The Parmy never gets old. They meet the requirements of all: taste, flavour and are always better out than when cooked at home.
3. The Parmy is multigenerational. All ages and demographics love a Parmy.
4. A Parmy is impressive without being pretentious. They tick all the boxes for Date Night, encouraging conversation and discouraging garlic breath.
5. $20. Says it all.
There are several different types of Parmy on the menu though we both opted for the Traditional. It was delicious and left no room for dessert.
The Alex Hills Hotel has a casual and relaxed atmosphere suitable for family gatherings and more intimate dinners. There is also a full menu service, including Chef's Specials, which you can see
