Coffee - many people love it and are fussy about their coffee! I am indeed one of those fussy people and will only drink real coffee. I will drink the coffee pods, however, it just does not have the same taste as the coffee made by my coffee machine and using fresh beans. When having coffee out, there is also what I would call "good and bad coffee" places. Many are good, however, a great number make the coffee far too weak.

1. Bench Espresso Perth
This one is situated at 191/471 Hay St. This is a popular place, particularly first thing in the morning for office workers.

You can check out their Facebook page.

2. Bocelli's Espresso Forrest Plext here
This is at Forrest Chase, outside Myers. I often have a light meal here as it is very close to the train station which I use. Their coffee is always strong and good.

You can see more about them at this link.

3. BOO Espresso
I have already done an article on this place and you can see it here . They are at 49 Stuart Street, Perth.

4. Hopper Espresso
This is at 872 Hay Street - this is in Shafto Lane, and they have good coffee and snacks. I haven't been to this one for about a year however, assume their coffee is still good!

They also sell coffee beans.

You can read more at their Facebook page.

5. Small Print Baker & Coffee Maker
They are situated at Brookfield Place, 125 St Georges Terrace. They are one of many shops in this centre and they also have delicious snacks and cakes. You can see more about them on their Facebook page .

6. Cafe Vinyl
This cafe is situated at 914 Hay Street, and it is Shop 2. It is a hole-in-the-wall coffee shop with vinyl record decor, and they do have light food.

See more about them at this link.

7. Tiisch Cafe
They are at 9B 938 Hay Street and they also have very good burgers. This cafe is more than just coffee as they have excellent food as well.

You can see more about them at their website.

8. Rosso Espresso
This coffee lounge is at 89 St Georges Terrace. Here you can also buy breakfast and brunch as well as a good cup of coffee.

You can read all about them at this link.

9. Country Road Cafe
This is at the rear 307 Murray Street or entry via Wolfe Lane. I have been here several times for lunch and the food and coffee is very good, but crowded around lunch time. See more about them at this link.

10. Ivy League
This is at 863 Hay Street and they do some delicious food also. As well as coffee, they also have "matcha" which is currently very "trendy".

You can see more about them on their Facebook page.

11. Zucca Espresso
Zucca is situated at 68 St Georges Terrace and they serve award winning Di Bella Coffee. They also have some light lunches, and you can find out more about them here .

12. Infusion Coffee and Tea
This cafe is at Shop 13, Plaza Arcade. It is only a small shop and here you can also buy many different types of coffee.

Find out more about this cafe on their Facebook page.

13. Voltage Espresso
This is at shop 12, St Martins Arcade, 50 St George Terrace. This is a casual nice place for a coffee and something light to eat.

See more about Voltage at this link.

14. David Jones
David Jones coffee bar has been there almost since the store opened and I often drop in here for a quick coffee. I usually get an extra shot here, however, as their coffee can tend to be a bit weak, depending on the barista! It is convenient, in the heart of the Mall, and a nice place to sit and "people watch". It is near the food hall.

15. Crib Lane
This one is at 847 Hay Street.

Find out more about this restaurant and coffee shop here .

16. LowDown Espresso
This is at Shop 10 Cloisters Arcade, 865 Hay Street. They do sandwiches and breakfast or lunch. Their coffee is roasted locally, and they have homemade toasties, in-house muffins and more tasty treats. See more on their Facebook page.

This is in that small street, King street and is number 90. King Street is renown for its fine shops and several eateries and they do great coffees and also have fabulous food!

You can read more about them at their Facebook page .

19. Livingstone's Urban Jungle
This cafe is at the Perth Cultural Centre, James Street Mall and is opposite the Western Australian Art Gallery.& #8203 ; They make comfort food and a "cracking cup of coffee".

This is a list of just 20 coffee lounges in Perth - there are many more, however, these are my picks - you can check their opening hours and most are only open till about 3.00 pm.
