I enjoy writing about Adelaide and its many attractions. If you think Adelaide is boring,

There was no doubt about what's on in Adelaide by 8am on December 1 as a stream of hundreds of excited young girls (and a boy) flocked to Australia's newest 1D World Adelaide store on King William St in the city.
This massively successful boy band have sold over 15 million albums, CDs and DVDs worldwide, and the figure may well be a lot higher after Christmas. Their millions of fans are stalwart supporters, eagerly looking for the latest news or music clip from the boy wonders.
While plenty of fans would have queued for the privilege of buying some merchandise of their fave group at any time, there was the additional bonus of a chance to win One Direction tickets. The next One Direction Australian tour is not long away, guaranteeing ongoing interest in this pop-up store for its entire lifetime.
The One Direction store caters for almost everyone (and all budgets), with a One Direction window poster costing $10, a 1D annual, charm bracelet or selected t-shirts for $15, and a cap, compact mirror or poster pack priced at $30.
Just Some of the Goodies from the One Direction Boys
If Father Christmas (or your parents) can afford a little more, then all the boys are available as dolls for $150 each. Their clothes can be removed but there is nothing that this clean living band would be embarrassed to show.
There is no news of other One Direction stores opening yet, but watch the Facebook page for more information as it becomes available. That is the best way for One Direction fans to find out what's on in Adelaide.
I took my daughter to the city today and the shop is an empty mess. Thanks for taking the time to let the public know you have decided to shut before your advertised date. Your fans are your success and your income, show them the respect they deserve.
