If you are looking for a venue with a wide selection of eats and treats, then you can't go past the 107 Coffee Terminal in Browns Plains. Located near JB Hi-Fi on Commerce Drive, this eatery which is open for Breakfast and Lunch seven days a week as well as dinner from Thursday to Saturday, has one of the most extensive menus I have ever seen at a local cafe.

Every taste is catered for, with both vegetarian and gluten-free options available. Prices are on average slightly cheaper than normal cafe prices, with many breakfast mains around the $20 price range. Portion sizes are decent, but not overly large, as seems to be the case in many cafes these days, where you end up feeling overly full if you eat everything that is on the plate. For those who are really hungry - you might wish to tackle "The Hulk". At $28.90 this monster boasts 200g of pork belly, double bacon, halloumi, sausage, hash brown, beef patty, guacamole and scrambled eggs, served with sourdough!


I enjoyed the “Stadium”, which was a veggie fritter stack with homemade guacamole, tomato salsa, smoked salmon, poached egg, topped with hollandaise sauce. This also came with sourdough bread on the side. The salsa was zesty and fresh and the hollandaise was perfect. My husband, a coeliac, had the "Marsden", which was an avocado stack with tomato salsa and grilled halloumi. The sourdough toast was easily replaced with gluten-free bread. For drinks, we selected from the range of freshly squeezed juices.


There is a dedicated kids' menu with meals for $9.90, as well as a dessert menu with a range of cakes, churros, pancakes, waffles and French toast. There were no gluten-free options, but the chef offered to make French toast using gluten-free. I had a delightful piece of carrot cake to go with my coffee.
