Dita Von Teese has performed to sold-out audiences and will now return to the Astor. The act is known as The International Queen of Burlesque.
The Art of the Teese tour will have several new acts which have not been seen before in Australia, and these include Lazy, an act only ever performed at The Crazy Horse Paris and an all-new ballet-themed act, Swan Lake Stripteese.
It will also feature four of Von Teese's most exhilarating performances, including a brand-new version of her Martini Glass routine which features a new baroque style gilded champagne glass, crystallized from top to bottom with over 150,000 Swarovski crystals.

2. ACO UNDERGROUND It's chamber music but not as you normally know chamber music to be!
It will feature the founder Satu Vänskä as the violinist and singer; ACO's Artistic Director Richard Tognetti; cellist Julian Thompson; Violent Femmes bassist Brian Ritchie; and Midnight Oil guitarist Jim Moginie. This band have great expertise and they can turn a hymn into what sounds like a pop song, or even a heavy metal sounding song.

3. DWEEZIL ZAPPA - CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF FRANK IN ONE NIGHT
This is the son of legend Frank Zappa celebrating with a series of guitar masterclasses, along with his band The Others of Intention.
Dweezil will be playing many of the cult favourites that made his dad, Frank Zappa so popular.
Dweezil will be holding strictly limited guitar masterclasses before each show, exploring exciting new approaches to the guitar that he has employed to play his Dad's most sophisticated and challenging melodies.

4. THE MINIMALISTS – LESS IS NOW
These two guys started questioning what was important after several major catastrophes in their lives. Then they discovered a lifestyle known as minimalism and everything began to change.
Joshua and Ryan both walked away from six-figure careers and embarked on a new journey, and have now written three books, including the bestselling memoir, Everything That Remains. They now have a film out Minimalism: A Documentary About the Important Things, which was the #1 indie documentary of 2016.

5. 360 VINTAGE MODERN TOUR
Vintage Modern have released their fourth album and this show will be the first chance for the public to see 360 after a string of sold-out shows earlier in 2017.
They are one of the key figures in Australian hip-hop and their show will be on 10th March, from 8.00 pm to 11.00 pm. You can read more about them at the Astor website, and the cost is $59.45.
6. RODRIGO Y GABRIELA
This band is one of the most popular acoustic instrumental bands in the world, having sold more than 1.5 million albums globally. They have also played to sold-out audiences around the world.
They are renown for their dynamic live performances and Rodrigo y Gabriela are without a doubt one of the most charming live acts in the world.

7. BLACK REBEL MOTORCYCLE CLUB
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club will be performing a selection of new material, as well as crowd favourites from the band's engaging 19-year career, and they will be demonstrating why they are one of the world's most celebrated live bands.
Their music is a mixture of "psych, space rock, noise-pop and classic rock and roll".

8. DIRTY JOHN – A CONVERSATION WITH CREATOR CHRISTOPHER GOFFARD
Dirty John has had more than 10 million downloads in just six weeks and has become an international phenomenon.
About the human need for love, creator Christopher Goffard is coming to Perth for the first time for live conversations about the series that has dominated the Apple podcast charts.
Goffard, a novelist and veteran reporter for the Los Angeles Times, was recently dubbed the "reigning king of serialised journalism." He spent nearly a year researching and writing the Dirty John podcast, produced in partnership between the Los Angeles Times and Wondery, the podcast network.
