Hey-ho, get down to Yoyo in Mooloolaba
Hate hunger? You would. It's an awful feeling to have. Thankfully, if you're at Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast, there's a very quick and simple solution to hunger pains and caffeine cravings - Yoyo Espresso.
One of the best things about Yoyo is how the staff remember me every time I arrive. It didn't happen overnight of course, but after 2-3 visits they started to recognise me, and never they've never forgotten. They're so friendly, remember the things we discussed previously, and always leave me looking forward to the next visit.
The food has always been top notch - and plentiful. Never have I ever left a meal at Yoyo feeling dissatisfied or still hungry. Simon and the team pack the plate with just about as much as it can handle.
Check out the specials menu for 'The Jorden'. It's named after one of the young chefs there. Blows my mind every time - it's either a burger or a wrap (you choose) with bacon, eggs, halloumi, and more. Quite possibly the most satisfying meal you can have on the coast.
They're also happy and proud to be a dog-friendly cafe. There's a water bowl out the front of your doggo is particularly parched. They've laid AstroTurf in the outdoor area for the dogs to lie down. I think the reason staff took to me so quickly was the fact I came on with my dog. They make him feel so loved, and it really sold me on just what great a place it is.
In case I wasn't clear, I really, really enjoyed Yoyo. Although I have been disappointed a couple of times to arrive at say 11:30am (30 mins to closing) only to find they had a quiet day and shut up shop early. Of course that's up to them when they shut/open but I can't help but feel disappointed whenever I miss out.
