Create your own delicious combination of yoghurt flavours and toppings at self-serve yoghurt bar YoChi .

YoChi is quite similar in concept to ice creameries Cold Rock and Will's Batch , with the healthier option of yoghurt rather than ice-cream. They are at pains to point out how healthy their 98% fat free yoghurt is, particularly when coupled with fresh fruit.

The yoghurt dispensers are similar to Slurpee machines, with eight flavours to choose from. There are traditional flavours such as mixed berry, mango and passionfruit, alongside more adventurous choices including coconut, honey soybean and chai. For the sweet toothed among us there is even chocolate flavoured yoghurt. The flavours are rotated every now and then, so you never know exactly what will be on offer when you visit.

You then proceed to the topping counter, where you select seasonal fruit, nuts, sweets and sauces to complete your yoghurt creation. Whether you're looking for a light, fruity snack or prefer your yoghurt laden with chocolate, you'll be able to create your perfect dessert. One topping that is sure to appeal to all is their fruit pearls, which are small spheres of fruit juice which burst as you bite into them.

The pricing at YoChi is by weight rather than the small/medium/large serving sizes, at $2.80 per hundred grams. A typical medium sized serve will cost around $10.

You can enjoy a YoChi at nearly any time of day, with the store open late until 10 or 11pm each night. Their summer trading hours are 11am until 11pm daily.
