Proving a sold out sensation across London, the BBC's iconic TV series
"Yes Prime Minister" is now coming to Australian theatres for the first time.
Experience a humorous insight to the semantics of the political world of hung parliaments, national financial crises, global warming, illegal immigrants and oil rich dictators.
In the modern setting of the oak panelled drawing room of the British Prime Minister's country residence, the PM and Sir Humphrey, along with his assistant Bernard (played by John Lloyd-Fillingham) face their greatest challenge yet.
Starring Philip Quast (Mary Poppins, Les Miserables) as the cynical Cabinet Secretary, Sir Humphrey Appleby, and familiar Australian TV star Mark Owen-Taylor (All Saints, A Country Practice) will play the embattled Prime Minister Jim Hacker.
Showing at the Comedy Theatre, sessions run from January 31st 2012 through to February 26th.
