The World Theatre Festival is an around the world trip, featuring peculiar and sometimes erratic live theatre performances.
The festival runs from February 16 to February 26 at the Brisbane Powerhouse in New Farm.
The main program has an interesting line-up of the latest and best theatre from Australia, Belarus, India, Italy, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and The United States.
The Scratch Series, on the other hand, is theatre in the making. Be prepared for anything to happen with six new works-in-progress by local and interstate artists.
Chill out between shows in the Festival Lounge with live music. The Suitcase Royale, the Powerhouse's resident band for February, will be providing free entertainment every Friday night and the final festival night (Sunday).
Tickets can be purchased for individual theatre performances or you can buy an Around the World Ticket ($90), or a Passport ($220).
