Celebrate the music of our brave war heroes
Morning Melodies at His Majesty's Theatre are concerts for the Young at Heart.
What better way to spend a Wednesday morning than enjoying a wonderful concert in the magnificent surrounds of His Majesty's Theatre.
On Wednesday 13 March 2013 at 10.30am performers Lucy Maunder, Anne-Maree McDonald, Stuart Maunder and Alex Rathgeber will create Wish Me Luck As You Wave Me Goodbye, the music of our brave war heroes as they perform the popular and inspiring songs of the wartime period.
Share the joy of our courageous Aussie diggers with stories of unfaltering mateship and sacrifice. Reminisce with the nostalgic tunes of the era, featuring classics; We'll Meet Again, Wish Me Luck As You Wave Me Goodbye and Kiss Me Goodnight Sergeant Major, along with our own iconic Aussie favourites When a Boy From Alabama meets a Girl from Gundagai, Chin Up! Cheerio! Carry On! and Brown Slouch Hat.
