From the 14th to the 23rd of July, everyone is encouraged to rug up and head to Port Adelaide for an all ages Winter Festival.

Winterfest is brought to you by Renewal SA. Held at the historic Hart's Mill, this one week event will feature lots of fun activities for all ages- get your skates on and visit the ice skating rink, browse the winter art and craft markets, sit back and enjoy the live music and entertainment, try your hand at one of the workshops and of course, warm up your belly with some hearty food and drinks (yes, there will be mulled wine).



The ice skating rink will be located at the waterfront Heart's Mill and prices range from $7 kids and $10 for adults and sessions go for 45 minutes.

Take advantage once you are in the area and go for a wander around the streets of Port Adelaide to see the finished murals from their last street festival "Wonderwalls" or enjoy a meal at one of the many cafes and eateries dotted along the main street; Low and Slow for delicious barbecue meats and hearty feasts, The Birkenhead Tavern for a relaxed meal, Carmine for tasty Italian or the very popular Pancakes at The Port.

The best thing about Winterfest is how they have truly made it family friendly as it will be running daily during the following hours. Opening day Friday 14th of July at 10am, Sunday to Wednesdays 10am to 8pm (except Sunday 23rd of July which will be 10am to 5pm), Thursdays to Saturdays 10am to 10pm.

Rug up and get to Port Adelaide to enjoy everything this cold season has to offer at Hart's Mill on Mundy Street.
