is another addition to Melbourne's laneway culture, a popular bar constructed primarily from shipping containers in a disused carpark at the end of Whitehart Lane, off Little Bourke Street and in the very heart of the CBD.

Whitehart serves an excellent range of craft beers, cocktails and fine wines along with light snacks and a delicious feed available from on-sight food vendors that, along with the menu, the owners plan to rotate frequently.

Spread over two levels Whitehart is decorated with its own brand of graffiti, a kaleidoscope of brilliant visual projections and two huge ferns, one Staghorn and one Elkhorn in honour of the White Hart Stag after which the bar is named.

Live music and entertainment is a feature each Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday with local musicians encouraged to perform. When there is no live entertainment a sound system produces appropriate background music.

Whitehart is owned by film-maker Stephen Johnson and his wife Sabrina Santucci and is their first foray into the hospitality industry together.

Open 7-days from Midday to 1 AM Friday & Saturday, Midday to 11 PM on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday and Midday to Midnight on Thursdays is a great place to unwind with friends & colleagues.

Check out the website at www.whitehartbar.com.au for a full list of drinks & snacks as well as forthcoming events.
