On a hot day there is nothing quite as refreshing as an ice cold smoothie. They might be filled with ice cream, sorbet, or frozen yoghurt, and you might enjoy an indulgent chocolate smoothie, or choose to go dairy free, but chances are you have one smoothie that you just can't get enough of. We've tracked down some places where you can find a good smoothie, but we want to know what you know, so let us know where we can find Adelaide's Best Smoothie.

Pure Natural
These guys are new on the Adelaide scene, but they have quite a selection of stores interstate. You'll find them in the City Cross Arcade. They have an interesting twist on their smoothies, using soft serve ice cream to make them extra smooth. I'm still not entirely sold on the soft serve, I'd prefer a scoop of yoghurt, but there are some interesting flavour options.

BOOST Juice
Before BOOST came along, smoothies weren't really a buzz word. Health food junkies might have whipped one up for breakfast, but BOOST made them the drink that you had to have. These guys have to be pretty high on the list, as they've become a national treasure but started with humble beginnings at their King William Street Store. They have a huge range of options available, in a range of sizes. They usually either use delicious frozen yoghurt, or a sleeker sorbet.
Top pick: Blueberry Blast

T-Bar
For a smoothie with a bit of a twist, try one of the smoothies available at T-Bar. These aren't your usual fruit blends, instead enjoy an icy cold blend of your favourite teas. Choose between a chai or green tea matcha smoothie, for a milky mix that isn't too sweet. If you're a fan of either of these drinks in regular tea form you'll love their smoothie counterparts, and they are far better suited to hot summer weather.
Top Pick: Chai Smoothie

Rundle Mall Fruit and Veg Stall
I'm yet to discover if this stall actually has a name, but what I do know is that they make one of my favourite smoothies around. They're the fruit and veg stall that is closest to the Myer Centre on Rundle Mall, and they'll blend you up a greek yoghurt smoothie that is to die for. Choose from one of their three flavour combos and enjoy and you stroll through the mall.
Top pick: Banana and Passionfruit Smoothie

We know that cafes all over Adelaide are serving up delicious smoothies. You may even make a killer smoothie yourself, my tip is to add some baby spinach to your home grown smoothie for an extra health kick. So let us know your recipes for the best breakfast smoothie, or fill us in on who makes the best smoothie blend. One thing is sure, we want to know who has Adelaide's best smoothie.
