The back streets of Collingwood is not the first place you would think of to go for a High Tea Party, but once you are inside Where A Girl Goes it is easy to forget this as you are transported into a world of decadence and luxury.

Cristina Re, designer of beautiful stationery and paper craft products has combined her stationery brand with all things girly to create her concept store Where A Girl Goes. On offer are Cristina's signature blend teas and tea ware, soaps, jewelry and books as well as her notebooks, paper products, wrapping papers, scrapbooking supplies and crafting tools.

If staying for High Tea, you will be greeted with a selection of beverages served in dainty and beautiful porcelain teacups. After getting comfortable and taking in the elegant surroundings, High Tea is served on traditional tiered cake stands. Whether you have chosen the Sweet or Gourmet High Tea, you will find the attention to detail impeccable. The hosts are very attentive and accommodating, which is a pleasant change for people who have special dietary requirements.

Sweet High Tea Menu
To drink: coffee, soft drinks and juice or choose from the selection of signature blend teas
To eat: baby cupcakes, macarons, hand-crafted Belgian chocolates and toasty warm scones with jam and cream

Gourmet High Tea Menu

Cristina also runs a range of workshops in her "Papercraft Academy". Workshops include card making, scrapbooking, origami, creating invitations, gift-wrapping, paper flowers, wedding stationery and styling and kids scrapbooking and craft.

High Tea at Where A Girl Goes is an ideal way to celebrate birthdays, bridal showers and other special occasions. But it is also the perfect place for friends to catch up and share a memorable morning or afternoon tea together.

My girlfriends and I will usually head to a spa for a soak in a hot, bubbly pool as a rare treat, then snack on cheap chocolate later. But what a lovely way to spend an afternoon this would be! Gorgeous food, good company, plus who doesn't love stationery?
