Wednesday. Hump day. It can be nice to have a night out and enjoy some live music. Press Club hosts Wednesday Blues, and it's worth coming by.

The music starts at 8pm; there's three sets on offer, and the last set is well worth staying for, because oftentimes musicians in the crowd are invited up on stage to jam out on a song or two. Performances are finished by 11pm, which means you can be tucked up in bed for a productive Thursday at work.

July's program

Acts this year have included local acts Mojo Webb Band, Transvaal Diamond Syndicate, Mike Frost and the Icemen, Morningside Fats, and Wiley Reed, as well as interstate artists Guthrie and international blues stars LittleWolf.

Wednesday Blues runs from 8pm to 11pm at the Press Club, Brunswick St, Fortitude Valley. Further information on Press Club located here.
