This place is a genuine hidden treasure. I heard about it through word of mouth and was amazed with the size and variety of what was on offer. I've photographed a few of my purchases.



The wooden sewing box is an item I've been after for ages and couldn't believe my luck when the stall holder was having a half price sale making the purchase price $15. I would have been happy to pay the full price. My retro beach umbrella was a mere $25. My husband collects old radios and was very happy with his bakelite number which cost $100.

There is a little (and I do mean little) coffee shop away in a back corner but there wasn't much on offer the day we were there.

If you visit on a chilly day, wear something warm as it's pretty draughty with a concrete floor.

The bazaar is open 7 days a week from 10am to 5pm and it has over 170 stalls. Take your Melways or Navman as it is a little bit tucked away. They do have a facebook page here .
