The Waterfront Grill at Darling Harbour have perfected their salads more than their steaks, despite being a steakhouse. When I have ordered my steak here there have been a few inconsistencies from being rubbery and overcooked to being spectacular, so I am not sure why this is the case; there could have been two different cooks on each occasion I have dined here.

Always quite busy, yet I have found Friday lunch times to be a great time to go. Their steaks are a bit hit and miss and need a bit of work. Not a place I would associate with having a terrific salad either; although if you are a salad lover you should not be disappointed here.



It is a shame to discover that the service is also quite inconsistent. One minute the staff are friendly and pleasant, and the next minute they can be bordering on rudeness.

The winners are the waterviews and their ribs are amazing, although you have to be in the mood to eat them. If you love ribs, this establishment is the first go to spot to enjoy them in Darling Harbour.
