For a real fair dinkum country show experience that the whole family will enjoy without having to trek all the way to the outback, keep the 2nd and 3rd of March free for Warragul's annual Warragul and West Gippsland Agricultural Show.
Warragul, where is Warragul I hear you say? Situated approximately 104 kilometres southeast of Melbourne, along the Princes Highway. The Warragul and West Gippsland Agricultural Show features livestock judging, farm equipment displays, an arts and crafts pavilion, baking and preserving competitions, fast food stalls, a variety of amusement rides for the kids, show bag vendors, and stalls selling an assortment of local produce and products.
Make sure to bring a green shopping bag along as you may find yourself tempted to purchase some of the fresh local produce on offer and ensure you wear some comfy shoes for all the walking around you will do looking at all the farm animal exhibits and horse event arenas.
