Vida Latina's Intimate Latin Cabaret show combines all of these, and injects a little bit of comedy and a whole lot of heart.
Your host for the evening, Anastasia, is both funny and terrifying in equal measures. She is there to hold your hand and guide you through the show; something she did quite literally for the two men who were brought up from the audience to get their shimmy on.
The show works with a combination of Latin dance numbers and 'classic' cabaret performances, in very intimate surrounds. It's not often in a cabaret show that you are so close to the action that you could pluck a feather from one of the costumes without even stretching out your arm, but this show gives you just that. Every incredible dance move, and there were a lot, happens mere centimetres from where you are sitting, making the whole experience much more exciting. Every shimmy, every kick, every lift, every turn is right there.
Vida Latina's Intimate Latin Cabaret is a great night out – from the free glass of bubbly and the nibbles on arrival to the 'all-in' dance at the end.
Ladies, be warned; these sexy chicks can dance, so if you don't want to feel inadequate in front of your boyfriend, I'd leave the man at home, which has the added advantage of giving you free reign to fully 'appreciate' the guys in the show.
