This sweet country cottage is perfect for a weekend getaway, and is located a short drive outside the Sunshine Coast Hinterland town of
Maleny. A winding driveway leads you up to
Victoria's Attic - self contained accommodation with stunning views looking back over the rolling hills of the Obi Obi Valley.

The three bedroom cottage is filled with beautiful reminders of the owner, Cathy Lawley's visits overseas, as well as her very popular sculptures. Our favorites were the Sugar Gliders and Green Tree Frog sculptures perched above the shower. We also loved the life-like kookaburra sculpture sitting on the balcony, which is also an amazing place to sit and appreciate the fresh mountain air or enjoy a barbecue.

Visitors to
Victoria's Attic are welcome to watch the talented Cathy Lawley at work in her art studio,
Fried Mudd Pottery or maybe even participate in one of her creative weekend workshops (a perfect way to learn how to work with clay). It is also well worth driving further down Baroon Pocket Road to see the boats on Lake Baroon, and look out for a platypus along the
Martin Williams Nature Walk.

Victoria's Attic is conveniently located about ten minute's drive from Maleny township, where there are many cafes, galleries and restaurants to explore. All in all, it really is a wonderful place to recharge the batteries and escape the city for a while.
