Fri 08 May 2015 - Fri 22 May 2015

The Victorian Fair Trade Festival, taking place this year from 8th May to 22nd May, is the biggest celebration of Fair Trade worldwide. It is an important event consisting of presentations, exhibitions, displays, workshops, films and market stalls that showcase Fair Trade products and businesses.

The impact of Fair Trade is ensured through good consumer choices and decisions. We can all improve the working conditions and wages of the workers and craftspeople behind the products, usually from developing countries, not only because it's the ethnical thing to do, but because it is progressive.

Moral Fairground, organisers of the Fair Trade Festival, has been the driving force in creating awareness of Fair Trade within Australia since 2009. They have collaborated with other organisations to stage a wonderful showcase.
