For those of you who are keen to make the inner city a greener place to live or those in apartments who miss the pleasures of gardening, this is for you.




Marrickville Council is collaborating with the community to develop urban green spaces with the Sustainable Streets project. Join the lecture at Marrickville library on Tuesday April 23rd at 10.30 am - 12 noon to hear how to convert your grass verge to a garden.



The Council lists the benefits of a Verge Gardens as:
%%1. Contributing to urban biodiversity and ecosystem
2. Improve liveability of suburb
3. Support health and well being
4. Help build neighbourhood or street identity.
