Docklands will come alive with a sea of Santa's real soon for the annual
Variety Santa Fun Run. This is a charity fun run, and it doesn't matter whether you want to run or walk it; you must wear a santa suit for 5kms which is the total duration of this popular fun run.
Designed to be a fun day out, although the santa suits have to be picked up from Port Melbourne prior to the event. As well as having fun; getting a bit of extra exercise in time for Christmas, and there are great prizes to be won such as an adrenalin experience and an island getaway. Prizes are also going to be awarded not only for raising much needed funds for disadvantaged children; but also for the first male and female across the finishing line as well as the biggest corporate group participating on the day. Also a family friendly event where it is more than okay for children to take part.
