I
love op shopping. Love, love, love, love, love, love, love.
Did I mention how much I love op shopping?
I am on the constant hunt for the bargain and when I discover a diamond in the rough (as one often does in an op shop) - it feels like I've won the lottery. All veteran op shoppers know how addictive it is.
Who doesn't like to walk into a shop with $150, spend it and come out with $350 worth of goodies? That's what I did on Saturday.
I had mentioned to my girlfriend that I would be riding to Savers in Sydney Road to stock up my vintage wardrobe. A text came through late Friday night.
Have you been to Value City Super Savers? Let's go tomorrow!I rocked up at her house at 10am, unheard of for me on a Saturday.
Saturday is the day when I like to develop my relationship with my pillow.
We urgently found a coffeeshop, it was so crowded my head was spinning. After a good twenty minutes, our takeaway coffee was ready and we exited stage left.
I am always a little hesitant to go shopping with girlfriends or anybody for that matter. I like to take my time and browse. I hate being rushed or asked repeatedly
"Does my bum look big in this?"I was relieved to find my friend was like me when it came to shopping She went one way, I went the other and three hours later we met up out the front of the store.
Value City Super Savers has a great variety of clothing, books, bags, shoes, jewellery etc. It is very clean and the staff are most friendly.
It almost seemed as if people hadn't discovered this op-shop gem yet, but when your store is this good, the word will spread.
My friend and I are hanging to score some more bargains at Value City Super Savers - I'll be ringing her later this evening to make a date.
Value City Super Savers has to be the best op shop I've been to in the Northern suburbs.
I urge you to check it out.
