As another V8 Supercar season comes to a close for 2011, Sydney is the venue for the final race of the series.
Jamie Whincup and Vodafone teammate Craig Lowndes are the spearheads battling it out for the title, with outside chances for Shane Van Gisbergen and Mark Winterbottom.
It's shaping up as a wonderful climax in the race that decided last year's championship.
The event goes over three days from December 2nd to December 4th, and includes three days of exciting racing action, with two huge nights of Aussie music.
2011's edition will feature performances from some of Australia's best local rock talent including national icons, John Farnham plus Hunters and Collectors. The latter performing a special one off concert after 13 years! Crazy!!
Joining them will be Noiseworks, James Reyne, hip hop legends Bliss N Eso and rock kings Jebediah who'll perform their smash hits with the rest of the line up over two epic concerts at ANZ Stadium in Homebush on December 2nd and 3rd.
As far as tickets go, the conveniently titled 'Rock-n-Race' all access pass for the three days of fun provides best value and can be all yours for the price of $133. But there is a range of different ticket packages to choose from, with prices ranging from as little as $35 to the full fan experience at $350. All pre-purchased ticket prices also include use of public transport on the day.
Also, any kids under twelve years of age get in for free with a paying adult. The Disney Pixar CARS Truck makes its final stop on its Australian tour and will be there to entertain the young ones.
For the rev-heads, the Armor All Auto Show will be on show and feature some of the hottest rides to grace Sydney's roads.
The Sydney Telstra 500 is the ideal way to see of the 2011 V8 Supercar Series, so purchase your tickets and get amongst it.
