I've always loved adding olive oil to food, but who knew you could also use it around the house? Here are just a few ways:

1. Shaving cream
Next time you run out of shaving cream, don't make a mad dash to Priceline. Instead, just use olive oil. Slather on skin, then shave and rinse as normal. The oil will also leave your skin silky smooth.

2. Zippers
If you're having trouble with a stuck zipper, don't tug it until it breaks, instead just smear a little olive oil on it, and gently ease the zipper free.

3. Babies
If your baby is suffering from diaper rash, gently wipe olive oil onto your baby's bottom to help ease irritation.

4. Snoring
Before going to bed take a sip of olive oil. It helps to lubricate the muscles in the throat, making it harder for you to snore.

5. Shoe polish
Spray a little olive oil onto your shoes to make them look super shiny.

Olive oil is one of nature's little miracles. Keep it on hand to solve life's little problems.
