UrsaLady Creations is one of the newer tenants in the
Stones Corner shopping precinct. I eyed this store back in December and have been itching to get back there to have a closer look. The wait was worth it. From the footpath, it looks like a fun shop to browse in - it is.
UrsaLady Creations, run by lovely Ria and her daughter Ursula, is an emporium of vintage and retro goodies. The back of the store is dedicated to pre-loved, vintage clothing and shoes.
The front of the shop retails retro-inspired, rockabilly, and roller derby clothing and accessories. They have imported a fabulous selection of frocks in fun prints: leopard, cherry, polka dot, and floral. They also carry nautical dresses and
psychobilly clothing; a cross between punk and rockabilly.
UrsaLady's dresses, skirts, and pants are suitable for all shapes, sizes, and ages. I personally love their cherry print pedal pushers.
They are also the exclusive stockist of Leg Avenue Shoes; funky footwear every girl would love to add to her collection.
If you are looking for a truly original piece of jewellery, this is the place to shop. Ursula creates unique, fun, quirky jewellery, as well as hair accessories.
UrsaLady also support other local small businesses by selling rings and other things by Made By Me Designs, t-shirts by Jet Johnson, and recycled children's clothing by Blank Canvas Clothing.
And coming soon, Gwendolyn Photography; get dolled up and have some pin-up pictures taken. Gwendolyn also offfers clothing, hair, and make-up for the photo shoots. Click
here for more details.
In addition, there are retro postcards (another exclusive deal), pin-up posters, vintage home wares, vinyl record handbags, badge bracelets, burlesque bustiers, genuine sailor jackets, Russian army berets and pink plastic flamingos.
Yes, it is definitely a fun shop.
