Don't expect any smashed avocados in the Guacamole Salad. The diced tomatoes, onions, chilies and avocados folded together and served with crispy and sweet plantain chips had texture, spice and fresh flavours.



The De camaron was a mouthful of battered fried prawn, cabbage salad, chipotle mayo and avocado flavours wrapped in fresh house-made corn tortilla.



The star ingredient of the Ceviche de huachinango was the bright and fresh chucks of snapper, lemon cured to perfection with a firm overcoat and tender centre. The accompaniments of onions, tomatoes, cilantro and jalapeno gave the entire dish a tart complexity that opened the palate.



If you love roasted pork back ribs paired with burnt corn, the Costilla ala Parilo rubbed in Mexican spice was fall-off-the-bone tasty and finger-licking-good.
