Eastland Shopping Centre is proud to welcome a unique
Under the Sea Sand Sculpting Exhibition to Centre Stage for the month of March. Adults and children alike will be able to submerge themselves in an underwater world carved in sand and enjoy breathtaking sand sculptures featuring your favourite sea creatures and much more. You don't have to head to the beach to do it, and it's free.
Until Sunday, 16th March from 9am to 5pm each day you can be fascinated by this beautiful and technical craft while you watch professional sand sculptors, Peter Redmond and Meg Murray, transform the 21 tons of specialty sand that has been delivered to Eastland's Centre Court into a magical underwater world, complete with mermaids, dolphins, puffer fish, whales and friendly octopus.
The Under the Sea Exhibition itself is open until Sunday 30th March. You can peruse the spectacular sculptures and children can participate in the fun, sandy activities and create their own personal sand art or sand bottle.
